MDE-LIO Mini-Grants
The Michigan Department of Education, Low Incidence Outreach (MDE-LIO) offers mini grants for activities, training, and support for families as they impact the lives of children and young adults who are visually impaired and/or deafblind.
We are very pleased to announce the opportunity to develop innovative projects, to replicate successful practices, or to enrich and expand curriculum in ways that directly and positively affect services to students with a visual impairment and/or students who are deafblind.
Grants up to $5,000.00 are awarded through a competitive review. Further, grant reviewers are looking for proposals which incorporate exemplary practices for educating students with a visual impairment.
