Vision Services Severity Rating Scales (VSSRS and VSSRS+)

A task force was convened for the purpose of revising and updating the Vision Services Severity Rating Scales and to address the standardization of service delivery to students who are blind or visually impaired. The task force was comprised of TCVIs and TVIs throughout the state of Michigan and from the Michigan Department of Education, Low Incidence Outreach (MDE-LIO).

A special thanks to the task force members and the teachers in Michigan who field tested the VSSRS.

The updated VSSRS and VSSRS+ forms can now be filled in on the computer or iPad.

Orientation and Mobility Severity Rating Scales (O&MSRS and O&MSRS+)

This is the 2013 update of the Orientation and Mobility Severity Rating Scale (O&MSRS) and the Orientation and Mobility Severity Rating Scale for Students with Additional Needs (O&MSRS+). The Michigan Department of Education-Low Incidence Outreach (MDE-LIO) Orientation and Mobility Task Force has revised the forms so that they can be filled in on the computer or iPad.
